Background
Aisling graduated with First Class Honours in Dentistry from Trinity College Dublin in 2015. After completing a House Officer year at the Dublin Dental University Hospital, she moved to the UK to pursue further postgraduate training.
Aisling gained experience in several dental specialties throughout England and Scotland, before settling in London to focus her career on Paediatric Dentistry. She completed her specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, as well as the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. Aisling also earned a Masters in Paediatric Dentistry from King’s College London and passed the TriCollegiate Membership in Paediatric Dentistry (MPaed Dent) exam in 2021.
Aisling worked as a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry at King’s College Hospital in London before returning to Ireland. In addition to working in Happy Teeth, Aisling currently holds a position as a locum Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry at Children’s Health Ireland in Crumlin.
Aisling’s dedication to advancing Paediatric Dentistry extends beyond the clinic. She has published a number of peer-reviewed articles and presented her research at international and national conferences.
Aisling is committed to providing a positive and enjoyable dental experience for all children, especially those with special healthcare needs. She also actively enjoys teaching both undergraduate dental students and postgraduate trainees in Paediatric Dentistry.
Outside of her professional life, Aisling is a Mum of two young children and enjoys spending time outdoors, often chasing after them! She loves running, baking and making cuddly crochet toys during the weekends.
